King Charles is being praised for handling Donald Trump well during his visit to America.
Her Majesty, who made a 4-day visit to the US, used her soft skills with Trump amid strained relations with Britain
Speaking about Her Majesty, Huddle Culture’s body language expert Bruce Durham told the Mirror: “What we’re seeing here is a subtle power play, and sequence matters. As King Charles exits the vehicle, he does two things in quick succession. First, as he stands up, he adjusts the button of his jacket. Now, realistically, that button will have already been checked several times. So it’s not functional. – This is what we would call a calming behavior, a little self-soothing action when he goes into a very public moment.
“But almost immediately, he changes. With his right hand – specifically his right hand – he opens his posture, as if to say, ‘Here I am.’ This is known as ventral exposure: moving the arms away from the torso, exposing vital organs. In many contexts, it signals a lack of threat or a sense of spontaneity,” he said.
