Take the classic margarita up a notch with me Easy Pineapple Margarita Recipe! Made with pineapple juice, coconut water, and of course tequila, these Pineapple Margaritas are equal parts tart and refreshing.
Why am I obsessed with these margaritas?
If I’m out and drinking a cocktail, it will almost always be a margarita. My Jalapeño Grapefruit Margarita has been my favorite for years, but this pineapple route may take its place! It’s sweet, spicy and really very refreshing.
This pineapple margarita recipe is inspired by my girl Rosie and involves tequila, lots of pineapple juice, and coconut water. Shake it all up and serve over ice for a unique (and gorgeous) cocktail!
Material
- pineapple juice: The base of these pineapple margaritas! Canned or fresh pineapple juice will be suitable.
- Tequila: The higher quality the tequila, the better your margaritas will taste. Its as simple as that.
- Lemon Juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is my favorite!
- Coconut Water: I like to drizzle a little coconut water over these pineapple margaritas. It adds a little sweetness and just the right amount of coconut flavor.
fun decorations
Funny Rims: Get creative and serve these Pineapple Margaritas with fun rims! I like to use sea salt + tajine + coconut sugar. How nice!
Decoration: Add a fresh slice of pineapple, a slice of lime or a slice of jalapeño to each glass before serving. It looks really lovely if you put a piece of pineapple in the glass.
