King Charles was reportedly very popular with women in his youth.
As royal expert Ingrid Seward reveals in her book, ‘My Mother and I’, Her Majesty enjoyed a lot of attention from women in those days.
Prince Charles, who then went to the Gordonstoun boarding school in Scotland, was often followed by his fellow classmates.
Seward shared, “The one thing that Charles had doubts about was social work.” “When a party of 25 girls were invited to a dance in Gordonstoun, Charles went to spend the weekend with his grandmother (the Queen Mother) at Birkhall, her home on the Balmoral estate.”
Seward added: “[H]e didn’t resurface until after the girls left.”
A friend of Charles told Seward: “Charles could have had as many girlfriends as he wanted, and even the school maids would stare and giggle amongst themselves if they saw him. He also had the habit of stealing his underwear, and after some of his clothes sent to be washed went missing, special precautions were taken to ensure that no item marked with his name was ever ‘lost’ again.”
