A lot has happened between the end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026. Not only has Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly known as ‘the Prince’, been evicted from his home of 30 years with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, but his daughters were seen away from the Christmas outing and many public events, although events such as Royal Ascot were rescheduled.
But more than that, a recent public outing brought about some significant changes in the public’s knowledge of her marriage as rumors of her pregnancy began to spread after she was photographed in a figure-hugging dress with her husband Jack Brooksbank and her sister Princess Beatrice.
Now, just days after confirming the pregnancy rumours, she has broken her silence with a tribute post to her husband on social media, promising to spend another 16 years together after they are 16.
Eugenie’s two children, August and Ernest, were also included in the photos celebrating her 40th birthday.

One thing worth mentioning is Jack’s relationship with Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson, who is said to be the closest to him, even if she has been compared to his sister Beatrice.
However, it is said that as the crisis escalated and rumors surfaced of Fergie needing a place to crash, a report came out claiming that Jack had completely put his foot down and refused to allow her to stay at his Portugal residence.
The owner of a drinks company called AEB Consultants Ltd claims she did not want to be “tainted by association” despite being “concerned about his welfare”, following her husband’s decision to continue “resisting any suggestion”.
