As is always the case, many of the most iconic looks from tonight’s Met Gala will remain in fashion history. In addition to Anna Wintour, the 2026 co-chairs are Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, and Venus Williams, so we definitely know we have all that to look forward to.
This year’s Met Gala dress code is “Fashion is Art”, intended to complement the Met’s exhibition theme. costume art. As always, we’ll be keeping a close eye on who adheres to said dress code and who doesn’t, though the topic is a little more nebulous some years than others – this year being one of them. That said, a topic that allows for wide interpretation can make for a very interesting red carpet.
