The H&M x Stella McCartney collection is here – and already selling out fast

It’s been 21 years since Stella McCartney first teamed up with H&M, a collaboration so good it changed the high-street fashion landscape as we knew it. Long before designer and high street drops were so popular today, Stella McCartney x H&M set the template. Now, more than two decades later, McCartney is back – and if the first impression is anything to go by, this second chapter is even better.

At its core, the collection feels exactly as you would expect: elevated, playful and distinctly Stella. Comfortable tailoring, sharp outerwear and polished accessories form the foundation, all crafted from consciously sourced, sustainable materials that have long defined the designer’s brand. “I see this collection as a journey through my fashion history. It’s a true mix of current classics and some of my old favorites that showcase my first forays into fashion and the evolution of my signatures. It’s playful, strong, bright, joyful, sophisticated.” McCartney shares.

The signatures are all here: sweeping trench coats, strong suiting and oversized shirting that feel like instant wardrobe staples. But it’s the more playful pieces that really draw you in – ribbed knit dresses, fluid evening gowns, sparkling co-ords and denim so good it’s worth a mention in its own right. Then there are the cherry-print tops, which bring a little of the outrageous, joyful Stella energy that first came into the fashion world.
