Prince Harry will be pushing for more taxpayer-funded security following the recent Andrew incident.
The Duke of Sussex, who is currently fighting the Home Office to restore his former protections, will double down on his request as Uncle Andrew receives threats in broad daylight.
Tom Sykes, a royal journalist, said: “It is reasonable to assume that he would be deeply concerned, and would double down on his position now that he cannot bring his wife Meghan Markle and their children back to the United Kingdom without a comprehensive security package.”
He tells The Daily Beast: “If something happened (to Prince Harry), it would be devastating not only to Harry, but to the United Kingdom, the monarchy, and the country’s reputation in the world.”
Mr Sykes said: “The time has come to separate the situation from security. But the fact that Harry is stupid doesn’t mean he should be unsafe.”
