Sure, denim capri pants may not seem like the most likely jeans trend to make a comeback into the mainstream, but if the runway and celebrity style sets are anything to go by — and they usually are — then it might be time to prepare your wardrobe.

I first started noticing this trend a few months ago, when I saw Alexa Chung rocking a head-to-toe Chloé look wearing a pair of knee-length denim capris. Undoubtedly, the capri trouser has been gaining momentum for the past few summers, with tailored styles and slim paddle pushers constantly finding their way back into fashion circles. But now that the trend has become more established, designers are starting to take things a step further.
