Three people were killed and four others were injured in a two-car crash west of Victorville Saturday night, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Protection Department.
The crash happened in Pinon Hills on Palmdale Road near Minero Road just before 8 p.m.
San Bernardino County Fire Protection Department spokesman Eric Sherwin said a total of seven people were involved in the crash, including one person who was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.
Three people were declared dead at the scene. Four others, including three with life-threatening injuries and one with non-life-threatening injuries, were transported to the hospital by two emergency helicopters.
It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, but officials said it happened on a two-lane road.
