James Van Der Beek’s wife Kimberly is remembering the actor, three months after his death.
“To say I’m heartbroken is a serious understatement,” the filmmaker wrote on his Instagram handle on Tuesday along with pictures of James and his kids.
He further wrote, “Words can’t explain what grief feels like. The shock facilities are gone. Reality is setting in… and I miss him. We all miss him.”
“There’s a different kind of magic in the air,” Kimberly added. “I feel Him. I know Him more deeply. My conscious connection with God has deepened.”
James’s wife said, “The veils of the universe have grown thin. And I believe this is the path my family and I have always wanted to follow.” “The veils of the universe have become thinner. And I believe that this is the path that my family and I always want to walk.”
Kimberly also expressed her gratitude for the support she and her family have received following James’ death.
“The outpouring of support has been overwhelming,” he wrote. “This has kept our family together in the most beautiful ways. You all have gone above and beyond my expectations in supporting us and honoring James.”
Kimberly concluded, “I’m so grateful. There’s so much more to share. And I will when the time comes.”
Kimberly exchanged vows with James in 2010. She has six children with the actor – Olivia, Annabel, Emilia, Gwendolyn, Joshua and Jeremiah.
