Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been warned they will not be welcome in Australia.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced their fake royal tour to the Commonwealth country is heading into a ‘hornet’s nest’.
Royal expert Chris Riches writes for the Express:
“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle think they’ll get a red carpet as ‘welcome royals’ when they touch down, but they might be walking into a hornets’ nest covered in sticky honey.”
The expert said, “If ever there was a time for one of their pseudo-royals to enter a country that has expressed a desire to remove Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from the succession line, it is not now.”
“Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has told Sir Keir Starmer his government will support a plan to remove Andrew from the line of royal succession, where he is currently eighth in line to become king.
He said, “They (Meghan and Harry) ran off to California and treated anyone who helped sell a few books and Netflix subscriptions. They fueled America’s royal obsession, which is rooted in celebrity, drama, the centuries-old stability of our monarchy, America’s fairy tale love for heroic kings, courageous princes and pure princesses – as well as our countries’ unique, shared history.”
