Suryakumar Yadav has joined the Mumbai Indians (MI) camp after missing the franchise’s last IPL 2024 match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Dharamshala.
Last week, Suryakumar Yadav welcomed a baby girl with his wife, and to be with her, he missed Mumbai Indians’ six-wicket win over Punjab Kings on May 14.
Additionally, the Indian captain is also reportedly battling a wrist injury which has reportedly played a role in his struggles this season.

However, Suryakumar confirmed his return to the MI camp through an Instagram post, where he can be seen training at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It is being said that he should be available for selection for the next IPL 2026 match against Mumbai Indians on May 20.
