I love Hugh Laurie’s character in the TV series “House”. In fact, I’ve yet to meet anyone who doesn’t like him. it makes no sense. He is absolutely vile. No tact. Sarcastic. Everything a girl hates. Nevertheless, he is smart, funny, witty and he almost always comes up with a solution, no matter how dire the situation.
I recently received a prophecy from someone who said, “The things you have been going through these past few months are the very things that will lead you into the destiny God has for you.”
What?!?!?!?
How can the things that pain me in the world bring me into God’s promises?
When House limped, it was because a doctor misdiagnosed him. From that point on, he was determined not to let this happen to anyone else. His lameness actually helped him walk towards his destiny.
It is our circumstances that shape us and make us what God has destined for us.
How will you react? Let His power and love shine through the pores of your heart, and have the perseverance to pursue your passion with all that you have been given.
