Samsung is continuing the ongoing rollout of One UI 8.5, its version of the Android skin that debuted on the Galaxy S26 family in January. The rollout started with the Galaxy S25 and S24 series earlier this month, and then reached more and more of the company’s high-end devices, including foldables.
Samsung Galaxy A26
Today this update has reached Galaxy A26. The phone launched with One UI 7 in March last year, and received the One UI 8 update in late September. And now the One UI 8.5 update has been spotted rolling out in Guatemala with firmware version A266MUBU9CZEA.

As always, the update is likely to be released in phases, so it may not have reached every Galaxy A26 unit in Guatemala yet, but it is on the way. Samsung is expected to expand availability to even more countries and regions in the coming days.
