Uniqlo x Cecilie Bahnsen collaboration is officially here

The formula, when it works, is deceptively simple: two brands with completely different identities, but enough shared sensibilities to create something that feels genuinely cohesive rather than purely commercial. One look at the latest collaboration from Uniqlo x Cecilie Bahnsen, and it immediately becomes clear that it falls firmly into the former category.

Merging Uniqlo’s clean-cut practicality with Cecily Bahnsen’s romantic, fashion-adjacent world of sculptural silhouettes and “feminine” details, the collection strikes that elusive balance between beauty and wearability. Bahnsen’s signature puffy shapes, airy cotton fabrics and lightly dramatic proportions have been distilled into pieces that feel fashion-forward, yet perfectly appropriate for everyday life. Speaking on the collaboration, Bahnsen says: “There’s a true Scandinavian-ness to it in that you still want to be able to express your individuality and your femininity, but you also have to go about your day easily, so that’s a lot of what goes into the design.”
