Tom Holland has been playing the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man for a long time. Now he is thinking of moving forward with the torch.
in an interview with EmpireHe said, “Whoever is next, whether it’s Miles Morales or Spider-Gwen or Spider-Woman or something like that, I would love to be a part of setting up the next chapter.”
Not stopping there, Holland teased his exit from Spider-Man by comparing it to Robert Downey’s Tony Stark.
“Whatever that looks like, I don’t know. But if I could do what Downey did for me, I’d be very satisfied swinging off into the sunset.”
The actor first stepped into the Marvel universe in 2016, appearing as the Spidey-hero Captain America: Civil War.
However, before any exits, Holland has a huge fourth Spidey installment on the way.
Its logline read, “Four years after the events of No Way Home, a forgotten Peter Parker lives completely alone, keeping New York safe as a full-time, anonymous Spider-Man.”
“But increasing pressure leads to a dangerous physical evolution, and a powerful new enemy emerges, forcing her to confront the consequences of her erased past.”
Spider-Man: Brand New Day Will hit the theaters on July 31.
