To me, Brooke Avrick is in a very select group of TikTok creators. She’s among a small group of wildly viral creators who found rapid success posting on the app during the pandemic. From the very beginning, Averick’s authenticity and quirkiness attracted thousands of people across the platform From Gen Z to the millennial generation – where his videos really do feel like you’re listening to a friend.
Yet before she became a recognizable voice in the content-creator sphere, Avrick was shaping young minds as a preschool teacher in Philadelphia. When Avrick posted his first TikTok during the COVID-19 lockdown, he had no way of knowing that it would go viral and fundamentally redirect his life. That one moment of engagement with an online audience was enough to convince him to leave the classroom behind and try something new. As of 2021, she is gone Los Angeles, joined a content house for a while as she found her footing in the world of producing.
