Channing Tatum is reportedly ready to make his writing debut.
According to the latest report, the acting sensation will release a romance novel next year. The book is co-authored with Roxane Gay, the acclaimed author of Bad feminist.
Reflecting on their unexpectedness, Roxane recalled that it happened “in the most ridiculous way” while appearing on Dua Lipa’s show. service95 podcast.
This new beginning was sparked when a reporter asked Tatum about a certain author she had a crush on.
“A journalist asked him if he knew there was a writer who had a crush on him and that she had written a book called bad feminist,” Roxanne said.
“And he was like, ‘Oh, I haven’t heard of it, but I’ll look into it.’ And then he did it.”
Subsequently, the actor took a closer look at Gaye’s work and was inspired to collaborate.
“And then someone approached him about doing a book project, and he said, ‘Yeah, I’d love to if I could team up with this person and write it.’ “
According to the author, the book is expected to be released “hopefully next year” with lots of raunchy romance.
She confirmed, “It’s very sexy. Lots of smut.”
