An angry mother has allegedly kidnapped her 11-year-old autistic son in an attempt to force him to apologise.
Shannon Marie Tufuga, 40, was charged Monday with kidnapping of a child.
He is also accused of serious child abuse.
It is alleged that on September 14 last year, Tufuga was driving She was looking around for the 11-year-old kid who was “bullying” her son.
When she saw him riding a bike, she confronted him.
The allegation states that he stopped his car in front of the boy’s bike and made him sit in his car.

Tufuga then allegedly sent the boy back to his home in Provo, Utah, without the knowledge or permission of the boy’s parents, so that the boy could apologize to his child.
It is alleged that when the boy said sorry, she threatened her husband to beat him.
He also allegedly threatened that she was lucky that he did not crush her bike.
After this Tufuga took the boy home.
Charging documents say the incident caused “severe emotional distress” to the child, who now “has high anxiety and has had to significantly alter his daily routine.”
Tufuga was charged Monday with two counts of second-degree felony murder.
He was dropped from the first-degree felony after the Utah County Attorney’s Office determined that “a reduction would be in the interest of justice.”
