The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have terminated their contract with the streaming giant, are to be replaced with credible alternatives.
Rob Shuter, a royal journalist, said: “Backchannel conversations are already happening – it’s a live drama, not a fantasy. They want to erase the chaos and replace it with credibility – and William and Kate are the jewels in the crown.”
Meanwhile, a source told Mr Shutter: “It’s not about creating something new – it’s about joining a royal brand that already works and is beloved.”
The insider said: “They got burned once. They won’t get burned again. It’s quick, it’s delicate, but it’s real – and if it lands, it resets everything.”
