Dakota Johnson was once rejected for showing “courtesy” during an audition.
During a recent interview hits the radioThe ’50 Shades of Grey’ actress revealed about the last audition in which she was not selected just because she greeted everyone in the room, because her action was misread.
“I went into the room and I shook everybody’s hand and introduced myself,” Dakota recalled.
The ‘Materialists’ star continued, “And then I did the scene and I left. And the reaction I got was that because I went and introduced myself and shook everyone’s hand, it seemed like I was ostentatious, that I was so happy and full of myself.”
Dakota revealed that she was shocked and confused by the feedback as she commented, “I was like, what? I didn’t get the job because they said I was being cocky.”
But Dakota kept a positive attitude about the “very awkward” situation, noting that she “just had manners.”
The actress appeared on Hits Radio to promote her new film ‘Splitsville’, which released in the US in September. Now it is all set to release in the UK.
