Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Thushara has reportedly sought help from the Colombo District Court in connection with the refusal of SLC to grant him NOC to participate in the current IPL season for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Lankan board had clarified before the start of the IPL that they will issue NOC to some of their players only after conducting some fitness tests, which they feel is necessary for some players affected by injuries.
Nuwan Thushara was once a player who could not play the entire T20 World Cup due to injury just before the start of the international tournament. However, with over a month between the T20 World Cup and the start of the IPL, the cricketer has been rehabilitated and is back on the field.

The unavailability of Sri Lankan fast bowler Nuwan Thushara became a matter of concern for Royal Challengers Bangalore; However, they managed to meet their needs with New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy.
