The out-of-form spinner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) gave away 25 runs in his first over of the match at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata tonight. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s opening pair – Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma – were in full swing against the KKR bowling line-up.
Both the teams started their campaign on a challenging note as both the teams lost their respective opening games in the ongoing IPL 2026 season. While Kolkata Knight Riders lost against Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost to defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore.
