Barcelona defeated rivals Real Madrid 6–0 to reach the Women’s Champions League semi-finals 12–2 on aggregate.
Alexia Putellas shone in her first game at the renovated Camp Nou for the Catalan football giants in a 6-2 quarterfinal first leg win.

Three-time winners Barca reached the semi-finals for the eighth consecutive time, with winger Caroline Graham Hansen scoring twice and Putellas also on the scoresheet in Thursday’s defeat.

Polish striker Pajor grabbed the fourth with a close-range finish after Rodriguez struggled to push away a header.
Athenia del Castillo poked wide for Madrid just before half-time, missing her team’s best chance.
Norwegian winger Graham Hansen scored Barça’s fifth goal early in the second half, taking a pass from his marker and producing a superb lofted finish.
Pajor and Graham Hansen wasted further openings as Barca continued to dominate, with Esme Brugts netting the sixth with a tap-in after good moves from Petri Guijarro and Clara Serrajordi.
Barça’s enthusiastic fans gave Putellas a standing ovation as he was substituted late on. The 32-year-old star will be out of contract at the end of the season, but there will be a lot of demand for him to keep up with performances like this.
