Dolly Parton proved to be a caring and loyal wife to her late husband Carl Dean.
As fans may know, Dean passed away almost a year ago on March 3, 2025.
Now, a year after his death, a report has resurfaced RadarOnline.com It’s been told how the 79-year-old American singer-songwriter and actress coped with the loss of her beloved husband, as Dolly was set to move to Las Vegas last winter for a highly anticipated limited residency.
In this report from August 2025, a source explained, “It’s been a little more than four months since Carl died, and Dolly is very brave.”
Despite grieving the biggest loss of her life, the Oscar-winning singer is looking forward to “hanging out with the crew and meeting up with some friends for a laugh and maybe having an occasional glass of wine in Vegas, although she doesn’t drink much.”
“It will get her out of the house, she can wear her fancy dresses and perform for the fans, which she loves to do.”
He said, “Her friends are delighted to see her excited about the trip. She really deserves a break. It’s been too long – she’s spent the last few years looking after Carl.”
