Meghan Markle finally got some support online after social media users raised bizarre questions over the details of babies Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s Easter video.
The clip, showing Archie and Lily wearing bunny ears and collecting eggs during an Easter egg hunt, sparked debate when some viewers claimed the eggs looked “too clean” to be kept fresh.
He accused the Duchess of Sussex of staging the moment, among other allegations.
“Anyone who has chickens knows that when they lay eggs they never come out clean. Why does Meghan Markle lie about everything?”. One critic wrote on X, Tyla.com.
“They’re shiny like plastic,” said one, while another added, “I have a basket full of fake eggs that I use as decorations for Easter and they look exactly like these eggs.”
“They look almost pearly. Freshly laid eggs don’t look like that,” a fourth tweet said.
However, many social media users, including chicken owners, took issue with the criticism.
“I have to disagree with you on this. I have a small flock of Silkies and other breeds and 90% of my eggs come out clean and I don’t have to wash them,” said one person who owns a chicken pen.
“Maybe it’s the smaller herds and less stress?”
“Since I own chickens myself, I have to disagree. My chickens always lay clean eggs, except when the weather is bad and they have mud on their feet,” defended another.
“I’m not a fan of them, but my body often comes out clean. Sometimes they’re disgusting, but it’s also normal for them to be clean. It’s Easter morning after all!” Wrote the third.
