insiders told people magazine Johnson and the model, who have reportedly been dating since late 2025, are “definitely more than a love affair.”
“It’s definitely more than appearances or just flirting,” the source said.
She further added that Johnson “really likes” the singer, but “he’s taking things slow after his previous long-term relationship.”
Additionally, Johnson and the model are said to be “on the same page,” with the insider saying, “It just seems easy. She thinks he’s cute and he treats her incredibly well.”
This comes after Dakota Johnson and the Coldplay frontman’s previously long-term relationship. The two were rumored to have been engaged for “years” and were in an on-again, off-again relationship from October 2017 to June 2025.
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson was first seen hanging out with the role model in December and January. Previously, an insider told the outlet that the actress is “playing the field right now.”
