Halle Bailey is sharing how her real-life experience helped her prepare for her role in the new film ‘You, Me & Tuscany’.
He recently spoke with People during a screening of the new rom-com in New York City to talk about his role as a chef sitting in an abandoned villa.
Halle shared, “I think it’s all just about using my real life experiences to influence the character and connect to the character.”
The Little Mermaid admitted that she could relate to the character as “young women trying to figure out life”.
In the film, Hayley Bridgerton stars alongside Regé-Jean Page, who plays the homeowner’s cousin.
The Let It Shine star added, “Sometimes you have to fake it until you make it, but you make it and then you come back. And I love that about Anna, and I hope people will love that too when they go see the movie.”
‘You, Me and Tuscany’ is all set to release in theaters on Friday, April 10.
Halle also overshadowed Regé-Jean.
“He’s a good guy and he loves to run in the morning,” she praised, adding, “He loves to work out.”
