Matteo Milleri, better known as Anima, did not perform on the first night of Coachella.
The show by the renowned Italian-American electronic music producer, DJ and multidisciplinary artist was canceled due to severe weather conditions.
Anima, one half of the EDM duo Tale of Us, was scheduled to take the stage at midnight, about a little more than an hour after Sabrina Carpenter’s headline show.
However, his fans received an unfortunate news at 12:17 am on Friday, April 10, as festival attendees were informed that he would not be performing due to high wind conditions.
They also released an official statement which read, “Due to high wind conditions affecting Anima’s stage production, she is unable to perform.”
The statement concluded, “Coachella and Anima have made this decision with your safety a priority. Further updates to come.”
