Kate Middleton has been praised for standing as a rock for the royal family during the death of Prince Philip.
The Princess of Wales stood strong for the entire royal family as she mourned the loss of the Duke of Edinburgh, who died in 2021 at the age of 99.
Talking about her bravery and fierce body language expert Judy James reveals the vital role Kate has played in bringing the family together.
“When a leader leaves a group it’s time for another leader to immediately step in and help fill the void,” James told the Daily Mail.
“The Queen was in deep mourning, and an equally distraught Charles watched helplessly as his two sons became embroiled in a civil war that threatened to tear the entire royal family apart.”
James said, “The world watched as, once the service ended, Kate first gave a crying Charles a consoling and supportive hug and then went off to herd William and Harry together, like a royal sheep dog herding two anxious and nervous sheep.”
James said, “Instead of moving in a way that would probably have brought joy and happiness to both princes’ late grandfathers, Kate stepped back to allow them to walk and talk alone, instead falling out of step with a very distraught Sophie and finally taking out a handkerchief to wipe away her tears and allow herself to have a moment of quiet grief.”
