The downside of watching runways six months before launch season is waiting for each trend to arrive. Although, of course, this allows for a lot of moodboarding, outfit planning, and making room in your wardrobe for whatever else you’re planning on adding. From this weekend, you’ll find me at boot sales.

However, now that we are entering the spring/summer season, pieces from the September shows are beginning to appear in stores. However, until the weather improves, it’s wise to tread with caution before heading out wearing a crochet blouse and denim shorts in – as my dashboard told me this morning – a shiver-inducing six degrees.

So I brought it for you 26 spring/summer trends you can actually wear right now that will still look good in the warmer months. Utility jackets, cargo trousers and layered beads make the safari one of the standout aesthetics of the season. The block color was spied at Prada, Loewe and Baleniaga. And the balloon trousers we loved last year are back for another fabulous outing.

All of these fit seamlessly with anything you already have hanging in your wardrobe—especially the coin belt, this season’s most sought-after accessory, and one that Celine has made completely her own.

Scroll through to see each trend in action.

Style Notes: Utility jackets, khaki tones and cargo trousers appear occasionally on the spring/summer 26 runway with Balmain, Burberry, Isabel Marant and Saint Laurent are excellent examples. throughline? Safari chic. Undone, effortless and with a coolness that’s especially tempting to emulate, especially before it gets too hot for extra layers.

    Shop the look:

Since Isabel Marant’s collection leans heavily on the safari chic theme, it is an obvious starting point for investing in this aesthetic. With buckles, pockets, rope ties and a rich interplay of colours, this exclusive piece is luxurious in its details.

For a more formal look on this trend, the khaki shirt is an easy starting point. White jeans, linen trousers and a skirt to match the tone all match perfectly.

    2. Coin Belt

Style Notes: If last year brought us layered belts, this season is all about statement-making designs. Hermes attached the Kelly bag to his waistband, Louis Vuitton leaned toward rope, and Celine created her own version of the classic coin belt: featuring extra-large medallions, oval metal clasps, and heavy hardware. Belts, they remind us, are one of the most outfit-altering accessories.
