Denise, who is the mother of Jonas Brothers band members Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas, recently revealed that she recently suffered a stroke.

Dennis further noted, “If I’m tired or hungry, I can fumble around with my words and not think of the right words. Sometimes I can’t remember if it’s this or that.”

She recalled, “My symptoms were that my blood pressure was high. I went to three different doctors six months ago. I felt like my arms were weird… at certain times I would have difficulty speaking.”
Denise also woke up one morning with hiccups, and learned that it was the “most overlooked symptom” of stroke in women.
“You may not have heard of it, but when I Googled it, it’s the first thing that came up,” he shared. “Then, when I got up to go to the restroom, I had a glass of water next to the sink. I was trying to get a glass of water and wasn’t moving. I was telling my hand to move, but my hand wasn’t listening to my brain.”
Dennis Jonas said, “Even though I had this health scare, I always say it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me,” and offered a unique outlook on life, “I think it was a gift from God. I don’t think most people say that about anything, but it really stabilized me.”
