Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s former residence, Royal Lodge, has been completely gutted.
The former prince, who now lives at Marsh Farm on his Norfolk estate, has given up his 30-bedroom mansion in Windsor.
As Andrew’s exile continues, it is now revealed that Royal Lodge has turned into a ghost town with other royals unwilling to take possession of the property.
A local observer told The Sun: “Royal Lodge was a hub of activity even when Andrew was trying to keep quiet during the Epstein scandal, but now it’s just a ghost town.”
It came when younger brother, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie met Andrew at Easter.
A source revealed, “It’s safe to say that they both feel sorry for Andrew and how far he has fallen and they are concerned about his fragile mental state.” “They feel for him, but it certainly doesn’t excuse his behavior.”
The source added, “It’s a difficult balancing act to support him while not condoning what he’s been involved in.”
