Taylor Francis Paul will not face domestic violence charges in his ongoing legal situation with his ex-wife Dakota Mortensen.
The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday officially cleared ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star of any charges.
As reported deadlineDA Sim Gill’s office released a statement that read, “After reviewing the reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and the West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul.”
Taylor and Dakota have been fighting over domestic violence allegations against each other, which caused them to lose several television projects.
Production on Taylor’s reality series was temporarily halted, and ABC pulled the plug on a new season of ‘The Bachelorette’ scheduled for release in March. While in the Vanderpump Villa, Dakota’s storyline was removed after controversy.
The situation between the former couple deteriorated in late February when allegations emerged from both sides.
A 2023 video of Taylor throwing chairs at Dakota later gained public attention.
Now, despite public scrutiny, the case has been closed by the District Attorney’s Office without charges being filed against Taylor Frankie Paul.
