CNBC has confirmed that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei is meeting with White House Chief of Staff Susie Wills on Friday to discuss the company’s powerful new Mythos model.
The meeting comes less than two months after President Donald Trump blacklisted Anthropic and announced that his administration would “Don’t do business with them again.” It appears that the artificial intelligence company is getting back into the good standing of the White House.
According to Anthropic, Mythos is excellent at identifying vulnerabilities and security flaws within software, and the company has stated that it engages in “ongoing discussions” with US government officials regarding its capabilities. Anthropic is offering the model to a select group of companies as part of a new cybersecurity initiative, and has no plans to release it publicly.
