Beware of unusual circumstances
“Now to every one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. To some through the Spirit is given the message of knowledge, and to some through the same Spirit is given the message of knowledge?” (1 Cor 12:7-9).
Whenever something unusual happens in daily life, it is often a sign that God is ready to do something. We must have a deep understanding of what God wants to do in these situations.
My mentor once shared how he was unexpectedly upgraded at an airline. There was a woman sitting next to him who was very upset. He began to pray quietly for the woman and God gave him supernatural insight that his problem was related to the fact that he had not forgiven his mother in a family-related matter. He humbly decided to share his insights. The woman was in shock. My mentor began ministering to him on the plane and ultimately led him to Christ.
God is raising the spiritual bar for Christians today who want to impact the world for Jesus Christ. He wants to supernaturally enter into people’s lives by making them aware of their needs in order to bring them to Christ.
Jesus often did supernatural things in the lives of others depending on the circumstances at that time. He often talked about their current situation in life and invited them to bring about change.
As you go about your day, there are situations we may find ourselves in that are open doors to bring Christ into that situation. In fact, he is the architect of the situation!
The next time an unusual situation arises, be aware that God may be creating the situation to bring His glory into that situation.
