It appears that Meghan Markle had mixed feelings about her trip to Australia recently.
The Duchess of Sussex, who visited Down Under in 2018 just after her wedding to Prince Harry, didn’t seem to enjoy her time in public.
Speaking about Meghan’s terrifying experience, an insider told Vanity Fair editor Tina Brown that Meghan wanted to go back.
The royal staffer told the author: “So, Meghan must have been thrilled by all this… right? No. She obviously hated every second of it. She didn’t understand why things were set up the way they were. Instead of being excited when thousands of people came to the opera house, it was very much like, ‘What’s the purpose of this? I don’t understand it’.”
It is further revealed that when Meghan arrived at the Sydney Opera House she told her team, “What are they all doing here? This is stupid.”
Prince Harry left the royal family in 2020 along with wife Meghan Markle and son Prince Archie. The couple later accused the royal family of showing racism towards their son and shared their grievances publicly on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
