Political scientist Mohsen Milani and former White House official Elissa Evers discuss options in Iran-US talks.
Mohsen Milani, a political scientist at the University of South Florida, argues, “Until Iran normalizes its relationship with the US and accepts Israel as a legitimate player in the Middle East, it will not be left alone to live in peace and prosperity”.
Milani and former White House official Elissa Evers told host Steve Clemons that another major hurdle in Iran-US talks is uranium enrichment. If it is not resolved, or a vague interim agreement is made in lieu of a more stringent treaty, then “in two or three years from now, we could see the outbreak of another war”, says Milani.
