mindy cohn, facts of life The star has revealed that she is undergoing cancer treatment for the second time after beating breast cancer in 2017.
She revealed that she has recently been in a Los Angeles hospital, where she is “recovering for a few more weeks” following her treatment.
“Been away from social media for a while because I had to beat cancer,” the Emmy-nominated actor wrote on his official Instagram.
He added, “I did this with the extraordinary help of the staff at Providence St. John’s Hospital. Thank you to my family, who have been my advocates and have always been ready to help me when my turn came.”
“Recovering for a few more weeks and then ready for my next adventure. Onward! F**k cancer!” Mindy exclaimed.
Following his health update, the comments section was filled with loving and encouraging comments.
American Horror Story star Sarah Paulson commented, “Send love your way”, while Jerry McGuire star Jerry O’Connell wrote, “Love you, Mindy! Whenever you need us, we’re here!”
Helen Hunt wrote, “Sending love your way.”
Mindy was previously diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, which she revealed after overcoming the disease in 2017.
She is best known for her role as Natalie Green in the sitcom facts of life From 1979 to 1988; and as the voice of Velma Scooby Doo Franchise.
