There is pressure on both Lahore and Quetta to win. Lahore have three matches left and taking points in each of them should give them a late push for the play-offs. There are two players left in Quetta and they must win.

If Multan has to make it to the top two, it will have to maintain its dominance. Islamabad are breathing heavily so the match against the dreadful Pindis has come at the right time.
Sultans defeated Karachi Kings after a six-day break on Sunday. This was their fifth win out of seven and the form guide suggests they should avoid a more difficult route to the final.
Steve Smith was our top batsman for the Sultans and he had a rare failure, registering a duck. Do we think there is something seriously wrong with his looks and touch? No chance.
It’s one of those things that happens in the fast-paced chaos of T20. Batsmen have to take risks and sometimes they get good chances.
