Last month, we heard that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 would have a 4,300 mAh battery, the same as last year’s Galaxy Z Flip7. A new rumor from South Korea confirms this, while also shedding light on the Flip8’s battery charging speeds.
The source claims that the Galaxy Z Flip8 will not get any charging speed upgrade, which means the smartphone will support 25W wired charging. This is not only similar to last year’s Flip7, but also to the Flip4 launched in 2022, as Samsung has not upgraded the charging speed on the Flip models since then.

If Samsung won’t increase the battery capacity of the Flip8, it should at least increase the charging speed, especially since it’s rumored it won’t get any camera upgrades either. Next year’s Flip9 is expected to come with substantial upgrades.
