Earthshine, shot on iPhone
At this point, some may consider it old news that the Artemis II crew used iPhones to shoot photos and video during their mission around the Moon earlier this month.
But for astronomy enthusiasts, including myself, there is no such thing as too many astronomy photos and videos.
She said, earlier today, NASA Artemis Account on X Shared a stunning video showcasing Earthshine from the Orion spacecraft.
In the video, astronaut Christina Koch’s face is completely illuminated, illuminated only by sunlight reflected from Earth on the mission’s second flight day.
After a few seconds, she flips the camera, revealing Earth outside the capsule, and the iPhone’s reflection faintly visible in the glass.
