The main feature is dual 14-inch 3K OLED touchscreens. Each display runs at 144Hz with 1,000 nits HDR peak brightness and an anti-reflection coating. A redesigned Hideaway hinge now reduces the gap between the two panels by 70% compared to the previous model, so the experience of working on both screens feels more harmonious. The chassis itself is 5% smaller than the previous generation while a larger 99Wh battery is fitted inside.
In terms of performance, the new Intel Core Ultra Series 3 hardware clocks in at up to 45W TDP. This is an increase of 28% compared to the previous generation. ASUS also tweaked the cooling setup with a larger 97-blade fan and vents. The company claims it offers three times the surface area of the older design. For AI workloads, the NPU reaches up to 50 TOPS, qualifying the ZenBook DUO as a CoPilot+ PC.
The ASUS ZenBook DUO supports four operating modes: traditional laptop, dual-screen productivity, desktop mode with kickstand, and a flat sharing mode for showing content to someone across the table. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, and Wi-Fi 7.
There is no doubt that the price is very high. But if a dual-screen setup on your desk is part of your daily workflow, this is the most portable version of that idea available right now.
