If you love The Row, chances are you’ve scrolled through more than one TikTok or article highlighting under-$500 brands with a similar aesthetic. That’s how I first discovered Rue Sophie.

Since then, I’ve become a fan of the LA-based label, known for its minimalist, high-quality, timeless pieces. With a price range from $88 to $800, Rue Sophie emphasizes fabrics such as wool, cashmere, silk, cupro, lambskin, cotton and lyocell. Cofounder and creative director Sabina Vilusic, originally from Croatia, draws inspiration from Europe—particularly its penchant for restraint—and a pointed design approach of “sustainability over trend.”
