Best knee-length skirts for spring 2026

By spring 2025, I was a faithful miniskirt wearer. Then I started wearing midi and maxi lengths, which felt better for being out and about in NYC in the warm weather, where you have to go from long walks to sitting in a park to going on the train or to restaurants with AC. In these situations, going completely barefoot seems less practical.

Then, this past fall, I started gravitating toward something in between: knee-length skirts. And while there will always be a time and place for wearing skirts of all lengths, for Spring 2026 I’m paying more attention to it.
