This timeless trainer style looks great with all types of jeans

Between those retro sneakers that are all over me Instagram feed, and the cool-girl technical styles I’ve been seeing while commuting to and from the Who What Wear office, it’s clear that trending trainers will always have a place in fashion people’s hearts. However, as a self-proclaimed minimalist, these loud, showy trainer styles often come with a dilemma: will they match well with my classic jeans?

Well, if you are also a simple wearer like me, then I have good news for you. Because minimalist trainers are having a moment this season, and both celebs and fashion people alike have proven that they match well with any and every style of denim you can think of. Recently, I spotted Sarah Michelle Gellar wearing a pair of cream suede minimalist trainers with her wide-leg blue jeans, proving that this timeless sneaker style is the way to go for easy, fail-proof style. Keeping in mind the inherent elegance of this combo, Sara styled it with a boxy blazer and sleek sunglasses while shopping on Oxford Street a few days ago.
