Morgan Stewart McGraw could recite the alphabet, and I would be on the edge of my seat. rich kids of beverly hills The alum, Renggali founder and true tastemaker, has the kind of star power that mesmerizes you yet somehow makes you feel comfortable. Chatting with McGrath on a Monday afternoon really feels like meeting a friend (a friend who is an impeccable expert on The Row bags), and while she explains that she “never thought[she]was going to do a podcast,” I can’t think of a better way to bring her 1.6 million followers into her orbit. “I feel like I’ve had all these different conversations going on in my head for the last three years and now it’s time to get them out,” she says reassuringly.

No, I really couldn’t. Even the most mundane events sound like grand events coming from McGraw’s expertly glowing mouth. (“I usually hate lip gloss, but for some reason I’m wearing this today,” she quips.) What’s the matter? When we get on our video call, she announces that she doesn’t know where her wallet is, which leads us to discuss her morning routine and, ultimately, our respective star signs. (McGraw is a Gemini, “but me—don’t be afraid,” she jokes.)
Thus, every beauty on a night out has a story behind it. A contour stick isn’t just a contour stick; It “will change your life,” says Emgro. She also has a secret source of one-off bronzers (“I asked them to send it to me”) and, true to her fashion commentator nature, plenty of hot takes on the coveted bag trend. “I’m wearing my old ro ascot bag To go inside. I don’t want to be Mini Kelly anymore. If it’s a fun color, sure, but like… we had our moment,” she declares. This is a much-loved Ascot – or she’ll honestly just keep a few essentials in her pocket. “I’m very Type A and Type B combined,” she adds. “I’ve gone out with a powder brush in my back pocket. “I’m big on lip liner,” McGrath says of her go-to items. “I feel like I need any type of lip balm or lipstick. At this point in my life, I don’t have any color in my lips anymore, so if the lip liner wears out, we’re in really bad shape.” Applying (and reapplying) is her favorite Make Up For Ever Artist Color PencilEspecially anywhere in the caffeine shade. She adds, “I buy 30 lip liners at one go because this is the best lip liner. It’s the perfect shade for a nude look.”
Another pencil she likes? Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultra-Slim Eyebrow Pencil in Taupe. She adds, “I don’t wear blonde or dark brown—very important. This is brown.” On the grey-brown issue I’m completely aligned with him; As celebrity makeup artist Katie Jane Hughes once told meBrown brow product is best suited for those who have cool hair color. At this point, I’m pretty sure McGrath and I have the same makeup M.O. because the next staple in her going-out lineup is brown mascara — namely, Makewaves Mascara by Tower 28A long lasting formula that I also swear by (so much so that I wore it on my wedding day). “Lately I’ve been curling my eyelashes a lot, that’s a fear I had to overcome,” McGrath jokes.
Next, stick to McGrath’s life-changing outline above: Anastasia Beverly Hills Smooth Blur Cream Contour Stick. “I dot it around the forehead, (on) the cheekbones… I put it in the creases of the eyes to give shadow and a little bit under the chin. Oh my god, it’s the best contour stick on the market,” she says. She uses the shadow shade, which is a very cool toned camel color.
Although she doesn’t necessarily keep it on herself, McGrath has mentioned that she wears it Nars Natural Matte Longwear Foundation on nights out, praising it for its impressive longevity. “It doesn’t move. I was shocked,” she says. She says it’s a great evening option, as opposed to something flashier that she’d prefer to wear during the day. To touch base with her on the go, “I really like this ilia concealer,” she adds.

McGraw definitely knows her way around a flattering face beat (“I’ve paid attention to my makeup artists and TikTok, and now I know exactly what enhances my features,” she shares), but like any good beauty lover, she also knows that a “prepped” routine is just as important. In fact, her biggest beauty “unpleasant” is to neglect washing face at night. “I know people are trying to downplay it like it’s no big deal. It’s the biggest thing,” she warns. “It’s not good for you. It ages you.” She’s a fan of Image Skincare’s cleansers, namely its Vitamin C wash It is extremely gentle on sensitive skin.
As we wax poetic over her favorite places to go out in New York and LA and swap restaurant recommendations (“The best smoothie in LA is Beverly Hills Juice Club,” she declares), I tell her we’re at the end of our interview slots, knowing she has back-to-back press appointments to promote her new show. “Why did it happen so fast?” She gasps, her eyes wide in disbelief. I imagine his upcoming episodes will be just like that: chatting with a girlfriend and watching the clock tick by.
