If there’s one celebrity we all come to for beauty inspiration at the Who What Wear UK beauty desk, I think we can collectively agree it’s Sienna Miller. We All Want to know Sienna Miller’s beauty secrets, from how she detangles her frizzy hair to how she applies perfume; Whatever she’s using, I want to get involved. So, when I heard that Sienna Miller uses a special serum that dermatologists, dermatologists, and beauty editors alike love, I was curious to know what it was.

It’s well known that Sienna Miller is already a big fan of Skinceuticals’ cult vitamin C serum, CE Ferulic. However, it turns out that she recently added a new SkinCeuticals product to her routine. This certain peptide serum is also promoted as a “Botox alternative” to target fine lines and plump the skin for a glass-like effect. The product in question? SkinCeuticals PTOX (£135).
SkinCeuticals PTOX
SkinCeuticals describes this peptide serum as a “wrinkle-modulating serum” that works to accentuate the dynamic expression lines present on our skin, from crow’s feet to nasolabial (or laugh) lines. It essentially works by reducing contraction lines to improve the overall skin texture and glow of your complexion, and also allows you to target areas that you can’t treat directly with Botox.
In fact, clinical trials of SkinCeuticals showed a reduction in nine different types of wrinkles in 12 weeks, as well as improvements in skin texture and radiance. The brand also recommends that P-Tiox can also be used to complement injectable treatments like Botox, helping to boost the effects of your treatments as well.

It would be remiss of me not to mention it Is An expensive serum and definitely a luxury skin care investment. However, having just finished my second bottle of P-TYOX, I can completely vouch for its results, and I’ve even heard it praised by several skin care experts. This is a skincare brand you can trust.
I haven’t had any Botox for six months, and where I normally see fine lines creeping in around my eyes, they’re softer and much less noticeable than pre-treatment. Although I wouldn’t say it’s a Botox replacement, I do like its plumping effects, and if I get Botox in the near future, I will definitely use Ptiox to extend the results for as long as possible.
The serum is also lightweight and absorbs quickly, so it’s great for all skin types and easy to fit into your AM and PM skincare routine and layer underneath other products. I’m pairing it with the CE Ferulic Serum, and honestly my skin has never looked so glowy. And now that it’s Sienna Miller-approved, I’m filling up on a third bottle.
