I was scrolling through Instagram the other day, and I came across a picture that took my breath away. The photo in question? A photo of Camila Morrone at the current press tour of the Netflix series, something very bad is going to happen. As you’ll see below, Morrone is practically glowing, and while her outfit and makeup are definitely on point, it was her hair that stopped me in my tracks. In fact, I immediately took a screenshot of the photo so I could show everyone I know how great this hair trend looked.
While 2025 was the era of the sleek bob hairstyle, it seems that this season, more and more celebs are opting for long, wavy hairstyles with a certain “undone” quality that makes them effortlessly cute. The defining factor of these styles is that they contain an element that appears almost Very Long, as if the wearer had given up a few trims in favor of length and body (or used an entire can of Living Proof’s Full Dry Volume and Texture Spray). In my opinion, this trend is giving off all the cool-girl, California-esque vibes that say, “I’m too cool to go to the salon,” you know? It’s the lazy-girl length that’s clearly cool, and it seems all the celebs agree.
In fact, I’ve noticed this trend so much that I’ve decided to name it. Say hello to the “overdue haircut” trend. Below, I’ve included my favorite looks that prove lazy girls reign supreme this spring, and I’ve also included some of my favorite products to get this look, because, let’s face it, no hairstyle is ever He Simple.
