Tasha Gauri is planning a new TV project on her Pakistani heritage to learn more about her family history in South Asia.

he told Sun that “a documentary is already in the works” and that he hopes sharing the experience will inspire others in similar situations to do the same.
Tasha says many families avoid talking about their background and she believes opening up can help others do the same.
“There are a lot of people out there in similar situations and I think sharing this can maybe help open those doors to other families too,” she told the newspaper.
Tasha admitted that family history has long been a sensitive topic for her, too. His grandfather moved to Britain from Pakistan at a young age and later married his British grandmother.
“My grandfather came from Pakistan when he was young and he was not Muslim. He met my maternal grandfather, who was British, and they married and my father and my aunts also lived with him,” she recalled.
The reality star further added, “Interestingly, my grandfather’s family is Muslim and they live in Pakistan, but we have no contact with them now.”
Tasha said she was inspired to reconnect after recent discoveries at the house, which also included old letters and photographs. She and her father have since decided to reconnect with relatives and try to understand more about their roots.
“I feel embarrassed when people ask me, ‘Where does your surname come from?’ I say Pakistan and that’s all. That’s all I know,” Gauri admitted.
He also admitted that his knowledge of his background was limited. Tasha said she wanted to paint a clear picture of her legacy for herself and for future generations. “I want to be able to say to my future children, ‘This is family history and this is who you are.'”
No release date or any other details about the project have been confirmed.
